It’s officially fall. Well, we’re a few weeks into it anyway. It’s only a matter of time before those mornings start to get noticeably cooler which will make everybody just a touch happier.
Most of the Sarasota restaurants that had closed up for a few weeks in September have re-opened. All clean, updated, rested, and ready to go! It’s going to be busy around town again real soon.
Of course we've added some new restaurants since we last posted the list of our top places. But unfortunately we had to take out a few too. Our Sarasota restaurant database remains at 340. It’s still a pretty big number!

New this month, Little Saigon Bistro. It's located at Webber and Beneva. This smallish place has been a bunch of things in the past few years. Remember when it was The Sunrise Café? Great deli food back then and super nice owners.
Breakfast at Victoria’s opened in the former Siam Orchid space. It looks like Victoria’s has gotten off to a pretty hot start. There have been lots of good reports about this new breakfast and lunch spot. And with good reason. Check out the Fresca Salad. Large enough for two meals!

Right in the same plaza as Victoria’s is Chef Darwin Santa Maria’s latest venture, Almazonica Cerveceria. It’s a combination microbrewery and Peruvian themed restaurant. Yes, you can still get Darwin's famous ceviche!
If you happen to have been to any of these new places, please leave a comment. We’d all like to know how your experiences have been.
Now to our October 2021 Best of List. You’ve been searching for Sarasota restaurant info at pretty good pace this past month. Let’s see what you’re looking for…

Atmosphere Pizza moves up five spots to number one. A lot of people have been searching for info on this popular new pizza spot. The Casey Key Fish House holds on to the number two spot in the October list. And once again, number three is the Drunken Poet Café located on Main Street downtown. Kiyoshi Sushi and newcomer Breakfast at Victoria’s round out the top five for this month.
